4-H State Contests
Utah 4-H State Contests is a competitive showcase of youth talent throughout the state. Utah 4-H Seniors gather at State Contests for a chance to win the state title in their 4-H project area. There are a variety of contests from Horse and Livestock to Consumer Sciences, Public Speaking, and Talent. Winners receive prizes and a chance to compete at the national level. This event showcases skills in a competitive environment where youth achieve goals, meet others with similar interests, and develop a greater sense of belonging.

***Please note that Western National Roundup qualifying contests will link to the national rules. They are subject to change based on national contests' superintendents and committees. Please check back frequently to be sure you are preparing correctly. Utah 4-H State Contests will follow all national contest rules, except when they interfere with event logistics - for example, we will assign order of go ahead of the event, rather than drawing names randomly on the day of.
