    The Utah 4-H Livestock Program is designed for those youth with interest in livestock and livestock events. This program is for youth in grades 3-12, but not younger than 8. The Utah 4-H Livestock Program includes programs for those youth who own/have access to livestock and those who do not, but still want to learn about the science of livestock selection, care, and management. 

    Purpose

    This program is designed to provide experiences to help youth develop:
    • Leadership skills
    • Citizenship
    • Self-esteem
    • Social Skills
    • Livestock men and women

    Livestock Club Information

    Club activities can include:
    • Educational and fun club meetings
    • Trail rides
    • Livestock shows
    • County Fairs
    • Judging contests
    • Service projects
    • Leadership Opportunities
    • Public speaking
    • Livestock demonstrations
    • Spend time with friends and animals
