Funtivities: Hands-On Science and MathThe overall objective of Funtivities: Hands-on Science and Math is to provide youth with successful experiences with science and mathematics while developing science and life skills. Youth interest in science and math is stimulated through experiential activities related to electricity, magnets, air pressure, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Teaching strategies are based on youth as partners and helpers who act as a facilitator to help youth learn for themselves by engaging them in learn-by-doing activities that promote acquisition of skills and knowledge.
