Forestry Program Unit A - Trees - Leader's Guide (1990)

Manual gives to guide leaders on teaching youth forestry. 4-H members learn what a tree is and how it grows. The youth also learn about different ways in which trees reproduce naturally or may be reproduced artificially as well as common identifying characteristics by which trees are recognized and classified. In this program 4-H'ers learn about the many uses made of trees and thereby gain a deeper appreciation of their value locally, as well as their value to society as a whole. (c 1990)
