Nearly 300 pages, this after-school curriculum has been accepted by the National 4-H Curriculum Collection and covers all the bases with hands-on activities for youth grades K-5. Adventures in Learning is 20 theme weeks of educational fun based on the Experiential Learning Model and explores topics in each of the 4-H curriculum topic areas. Each unit has five lessons, one for each day of the school week. Optional activities are also provide. References and resources for the teacher and books for the children are included for each unit. The following life skills are emphasized: cooperation, learning to learn, communication, leadership, problem solving, decision making, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Cloverbud Curriculum - Materials 1

Materials 1 has three lesson sheets for each project area to offer many opportunities for learning activities and encouraging positive attitudes towards learning. Each exercise is given an estimated time to assist in planning group activities.

Exploring 4-H - Exploring the Treasures of 4-H

 This youth activity guide provides a "treasure hunt" for youth to explore the joys of 4-H by discovering their interests, potential 4-H projects and finding 4-H where they live with the guidance of parents or other adult helpers. (40 pages)

Exploring 4-H - Treasures of 4-H Helper’s Guide

This activity-packed group guide is designed for teachers, volunteer leaders and other educators. The activities help groups of youth explore the many treasures of 4-H. Activities are organized into eight categories linked to national education standards with suggestions provided for continued study in related 4-H projects. (128 pages)
