ATV Safety Workshops

Certified ATV safety trainers can be scheduled give workshops at schools, outdoor expos, day camps, or other 4-H events to inform the 4-H families and the public about safe ATV riding practices.  Work shops include:

• Utah State 4-H ATV Safety Program
• Utah Laws and Regulations
• ATV Safe Riding Practices and Ethics
• ATV Wilderness Survival

ATV Sizing Trailer

Riding the right size of ATV is crucial to riding safe.  Utah State 4-H, Utah Division of Natural Resources, and other sponsors present how to properly size youth to an ATV.  Get hands on education on how to ride safely.

ATV Safety Kits

When riding an ATV, its good practice to carry safety gear.  Utah State 4-H provides county offices and clubs with ATV Safety Kits.  Safety Kits include:

• Motocross helmet, goggles, boots, chest protector, elbow guards
• Long sleeve shirt
• Long pants
• Gloves
• MRE
• Compass
• First aid kit
• Fix a flat
• Emergency blanket
• Water bottle
• Fire extinguisher
