Utah 4-H wants to restart this leadership trip, as there are so many great Utah 4-H youth who love participating in the great "Learn by Doing" activities that will be offered:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership Workshops</li> <li>Swimming & Canoeing</li> <li>Tours & Games</li> <li>Horseshoes</li> <li>Basketball Tournaments</li> <li>Volleyball Tournaments</li> <li>Ropes Courses</li> <li>Hiking</li> </ul> <p>The Tahoe Leadership Summit will be held at the <a href="http://www.unce.unr.edu/4H/camp/">Nevada State 4-H Camp</a>, which has been hosting 4-H Camps since 1938 in a beautiful wooded 32 acre set on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Camp activities include fun, recreational and leadership challenge courses. The leadership challenge courses are designed to build and improve many leadership principles such as:  problem solving, interdependence, communication, and team building. There is a low ropes course designed to build youth leadership quality and group trust. </p> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Details:  </strong></span>Utah 4-H Tahoe Leadership Summit participants will meet at the Salt Lake County Extension office on Monday July 5th at 7:30am, and depart at 8:00am <strong><em>sharp</em></strong>. TLS participants will travel to Lake Tahoe, Nevada by chartered bus. Make sure you eat a good breakfast that morning and then bring a sack lunch for the ride.<br /> <span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Registration:  </strong></span><u><em><span style="font-size: small;">Space is limited</span></em></u>, we will only be taking 48 youth and 8 adults on this trip!  <strong>APPLY NOW!<br /> <span style="font-size: small;">Cost:</span> </strong> $250 for all youth and $150 for adults.<strong><br /> </strong><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Applications Due: </strong></span>May 31st, 2010.
